Below you’ll find inspiring, first hand accounts of other travelers’ journeys to Peru.
Most of these articles were submitted as part of a travel writing contest. The contest attracted thousands of seasoned and aspiring travel writers, and the very best travel stories were published in a printed book: VIVA List Latin America.
This classic compilation of first hand experiences traveling through Latin America is organized by country, and covers 333 experiences and destinations ranging from Tiajuana to Tierra del Fuego. Peru is well represented, and the writers uncover some little traveled places such as Cementerio de Chauchilla near the Nazca Lines, to well trodden treks like the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
